## 前に (まえに) -> Before
Use 前に after a clause to show the following sentence needs to happen before the first sentence. Verbs have to be in regular form, and we don't use past tense. Just regular non-polite form in the first clause.
Don't need a long initial verb clause. Can just stick a noun, add の, and then add 前に

- Before you eat dinner, wash your hands
- 仕事をする前に、休憩します
