- Special Respectful Verbs (Sonkeigo): いらっしゃいます, めしあがります, おっしゃいます, ごぞんじです, etc.

- Polite Request Formulas: お + stem + ください, ご + noun + ください.
|
|
- Rule: お for Kunyomi, ご for Onyomi.
|
|
- Expressing gratitude: て form + ありがとうございます.

- 税金 -> ぜいきん -> Tax

# Main Point

## よかったです
|
|
Conjugate a verb into て form, and stick よかったです after it to say that I'm glad that....
|
|
|
|
Sometimes they add "おいて" after the the て form of the verb. This is おく, to put. It means "doing something for a while" or "a lot of preparation". Basically noting something takes more work and effort.
|
|
|
|
